This course explores the causes of stuck pipe, analyzing in detail the physical and mechanical sticking mechanisms along with the most effective freeing techniques.

The course is designed to benefit those involved in the planning stage of the well as well as those involved in the rig's day to day operations.
Course Delivery
The Stuck Pipe Prevention course can be delivered over two days with an optional third day to cover specific examples of stuck pipe incidents, possible freeing techniques, and the following fishing operations.
Certification
Successful completion of the course will result in a Well Control Group issued Completion Certificate which is valid for two years.
