Onsite & Virtual IADC certified programs

Well Control Group is proud to offer both the IADC WellCAP and the IADC WellSharp program with courses offered every week at our well control school locations across Canada.  We pride ourselves in having one of the highest student pass rates worldwide and our focus is on student satisfaction and achievement. Our instructors are trained professionals with years of engineering field experience and this allows us to better explain the complex topics covered in each course.

The new WellSharp Drilling program is the result of a collaborative industry effort to reduce both frequency and severity of well control incidents by emphasizing rigorous training for every person with well control responsibilities, whether office- or rig-based. The WellCAP program focuses on training for workover and completion work, including coiled tubing, wireline, and snubbing operations.

Well Control Group offers courses at various role-specific levels for drilling crews, well engineers, drilling supervisors, OIMs, and others with a requirement to hold an IADC Well Control certificate.  Pop up schools for on-site certification are available worldwide as requested and our trained instructors will travel to your location with all required materials. We are also offering classes for groups of 5 or more candidates in Calgary, Saskatoon, and Vancouver at this time. Please get in touch for more information.
